This supposed £6m investment

Thu Mar 11, 2010 9:59 pm

In what form is this supposed to take exactly?

It's hardly going to be a gift so surely it must be a loan. With nothing to secure that loan against, why on Gods green earth would anyone in their right mind do that when the club is on the brink of ceasing to exist?

If it's a buy out of PMG for instance, then that £6m goes to PMG, not the club.

I think it's quite likely here that everyone should start to prepare for the worst as without the miracle of promotion the club is going to cease to exist.

I'm not even going to apologise for sounding negative

If it's an investment, doesn't that mean they're putting money into the club to get money out of it longterm?

I presume it's a gift, but I don't have a clue to be fair.

If someone does put £6m in now between the end of the season and we pay £3m to the tax man, £1.2m wages per month until the end of the season and the rest of our outgoings, all with minimal income streams, it still doesnt stack up anyway

TBH I think you have already answered your own question, no one in their right mind is going to invest £6m.
