Hotels or "Hotels"?
We stayed in one a short cab ride from Hamburg centre, can't remember the name but i will try and find the card I kept when I was there (can't believe I've still got a hotel business card from nearly 4 years ago!!!)

I was based not far away from Hamburg when I was in the Army - too much of a chance of bumping into German offspring, not a great idea with the wife!

i have heard of it, but i don't know much about it, if its a romantic break your after, theres a load of restaurants etc around that area that do traditional spanish dishes etc. If you go, make sure you try out the ramblas, a busy street near the port full of bars, restaurants and shops. Loads going on there with entertainment going on all day. Loads of shops too, the official barcelona shop is on the street and they have some amazing spanish restaurants all the way up the ramblas which do some beautiful food. If you tire of spanish food, there's the Barcelona hard rock at the top which do some awesome grub. And pay 20 euros and you get your cocktails free from 2-5pm. bargain. (although they may have stopped it since i worked there as i probably near enough bankrupted them with the offer)
And of course, don't forget to whisk your beloved away with a fantastic romantic trip to the Nou Camp. Always a passion filler mate. Give her a once in a lifetime opportunity to get her photo taken with the champions league trophy
or a cardboard cut out of messi.
its the place i always looked forward to going when i was working abroad
hope this helps mate
