I love football......

.....and Cardiff City in particular.

I have been away most of the week and have failed to keep abreast of what has been going on. However as i sit here with The Jam blasting out a town called maliced, the bacon sandwiches never tasting better and the sun roaring through the patio doors.....

I am sitting here with a joy in my heart with optimism and excitement in equal measure lifting the mood towards euphoria. In another ten minutes my lift to Leicester will arrive and I am embarking on my favorite activity, following Cardiff City.

However I would like to take you back four days. I was working in Woking Surrey, starting at 6:00 am to ensure I could knock off early to go and watch the city in Ipswich. Four o'clock came around and three hours of battling the M25 and A12 result in success as once again I was partaking in my favorite activity watching Cardiff City...... Optimism was again high after a fantastic performance against Middlesborough...... My heart sank as i watched the first challenge, the opening exchanges were insipid. Ipswich were garbage but we looked like we just didn't want to be there. My own personal effort of going to the game was matched by I guess 300 hardy soles. Everyone has a similar story to mine, everyone made an effort, every single fan would have put more effort in than the ten outfield players we had on the green baize of Portman Road..... it got worse and worse and worse...... we were 2-0 down in the 83rd minute when I left..... gallows humour was keeping us going, but secretley everyone of us questions our sanity at times like this..... as i leave, my colleagues offer a handshake and say 'see you saturday for leicester'...... well here i am full of the joys of spring and cant wait to go again....

I love Cardiff City.....

I hate football.....today's game anyway.

I follow the City out of habit........ I'm Sick of so called businessmen, sick of mercenary players, sick of cheating, sick of so called football culture, sick of outrageously over priced tickets and most of all Im now watching Soccer Saturday....... Paul merson who struggles with the english language, Charlie Nicholas......why does he talk so loud.....we aint deaf! Phil thompson........ "the player is different gravy this season".....fecking idiot.

As you can see it's been a bad week. ;-)
