THE ECHO TOMORROW

Will try and make out Peter Ridsdale is only leaving to help the Club move forward, but in My OPINION HE IS GOING NOW THROUGH PRESSURE, BUT THE MAIN REASON HE WILL STILL COME OUT WITH £1 MILL THROUGH THE SALE OF SHARES APPROX, IF HE DIDNT AGREE WE WOULD GO EITHER UNDER HE WOULD GET ZERO OR THE OTHER DIRECTORS WOULD FINALLY GO AGAINST HIM.

Annis do you think 100% that the Mayalsians will be in control by the end of the season?

and Risdsale will have nothing to do with our club? :ayatollah:

i reckon a deal has been done to purchase his shares at a higher rate as oppossed to giving him a pay off
i believe the wh sports issue is going to rear its head very soon and if he dident take some sort of deal and appease the tax man he was looking at a 15 year ban from being a director anyway.
good f*cking riddance and god forbid he ever gets a job in football again
i wouldent wish him on the jacks.

well maybe just a bit

Agree mate, the pressure is obviously having an effect on him, as seen in some of his texts and statements, glad he is finally going but i would have prefered him not to have his £1m but we cant have it all. :ayatollah:

I f*cking hate the Jacks. And honestly I wouldn't want to see Peter Ridsdale anywhere near a football club ever again, not even they deserve him. Tony Petty yes, but Ridsdale? Nobody derserves Ridsdale no matter how far down the food chain they are. In a way, it would be great if the Malaysians held off a bit just to toally screw him. If he took us into admin his already tattered reputaiton would be totally and finally finished.

Totally agree, let’s hope he never surfaces at another football club ever again.

The man should not be allowed to run a sweet shop let alone any other football related business.

Due to his previous track record he should be treated like a drug dealer or a money launderer whereby all the assets of his ill gotten games are taken off him.

I would offer him a nice council house in Leeds, Barnsley or Cardiff or a nice holiday at one of her majesty‘s hotels, the choice is his- after all we wouldn’t want to see him on the streets would we!

I dodn't say that. I said if the Malaysians held off. If we went into admin he would be totally finished so he has to step aside in every scenario. I'd just like to see him squirm a bit.

Calm down Pike.

I said I'd like the malasians basically take it to the brink to make him as uncomfortable as possible. What I understand that you seem not to, is that liquidation or administration would see Ridsdale's career finished - Which I would like to see but he will make way for new investors to avoid that so unless the Malaysians are a fariytale I know we will nto go into admin.

At no point have I said I want to see us in administration. But I would like to see the Malaysians use the threat of administration to make the leech sweat a bit in his final days.

Is it a takeover though ?
Or are they just going to buy him and a few others out, eaving only a couple of mill coming in, or worse still taking over whats left of the PMG debts.

It looks like progress, but the champagne will be staying on ice for me until

a' the details come out
and
b. the deal is done and dusted.

Your feelings are quite understandable and to an extent I share them. However, one thing is certain if the Malaysians are investing/loaning £6m then they certainly won't be doing that and running the risk of the club going into Admin. Therefore, as soon as the deal is confirmed on that basis we are in a stronger position than we have been for the last few months. They ain't Ridsdale   and would not risk £6m unless they were pretty sure that they coul take the club forward.

I have no inside information but haven't the Malaysians always said that this woul be a gradual investment and hopefully once this initial news is confirmed we can all concentrate on the football again (and that includes the players  )

Re: THE ECHO TOMORROW

I'm firmly of the belief that a 5yr old wouldnt 'invest' £6m in Cardiff City and still leave
current Board members as the major shareholders. I'm thinking the initial investment
they made was so they could get their foot in the door and see just whats happening at
the club. If they're seriously pumping £6 million in now then surely its a takeover, or they
might just as well put the money straight into the rugger-buggers bank accounts, or
chuck it down the drain

Sorry mate, PMG have a charge over the lock, they've sold the stock and Ridsdale's hiding in the barrel.
