WILL YOU MARCH AT THE NEXT DEMO?

Sun Mar 14, 2010 11:16 pm

To all the fans who did not march at the last demo, having seen how much a success and how peaceful it was, will you march at any future demos. :ayatollah:

I didn't last time, but I wasn't necessarily against it - I just didn't really see what the aim was in my opinion.

Again if there was another one, I'm not sure if I would. At the moment it seems to be like we have moved full circle from being against Ridsdale, and then remembering that the whole board should be to blame. Not to mention the likes of Hall/Guy who are the one's that have made the real money, and now we're back to a witch hunt against Ridsdale

If, as we're lead to believe TG is ready to invest into the club and that Ridsdale is going to agree to the offer what else do we need to march against? If TG isn't actually going to invest, then we're back to square one again. Nobody to take over, and nobody to buy Ridsdale's shares!

Basically if TG invest and Ridsdale goes then that's great,
If TG doesn't invest, then we need to find someone to buy Ridsdale's shares and take over

We need the Riddler out full stop.

What about the others?

What about Hall/Guy who are the one's that have reaped all the benefits?

I agree we need Ridsdale out, but marching or a petition isn't going to get him out. Somebody taking his place and buying his shares will get rid of him. Ridsdale has even said it himself. Find a replacement, get the shareholders to agree and there we go!

I agree about Hall and Guy, we need a total clearout apart from Borley who i would like to stay.

But the Riddler has to take the brunt of the blame as he has a habit of doing this sort of thing.

I agree, but unless someone else comes in and buys his shares or the shareholders decide they want to get rid of him its not really going to happen.

The pressure is getting to him, and the march has given him even more bad publicity, the Riddlers future in football is finished. If we keep the pressure on him then something has to give.

He's still a shareholder in the club though. Who's going to buy his shares? I can't really see him walking unless there is a suitable replacement, or the rest of the board and shareholders lose confidence in him - which unlike many fans it hasn't happened.

If TG comes in, buys his shares and gets rid of him then great but what if he doesn't?

If the board and shareholders are still backing him, either they know something we don't or they think it's better to keep him until someone else takes over. Even if some of the shareholders are 'allies' of Ridsdale, they won't want to risk they're investment if they think he's going to take us to administration. The fact that the're still backing him at the moment speaks wonders.
It may be that getting a replacement in isn't the best idea if we're on the brink of a takeover/substantial investment as whoever it is may want to bring in their own team

It seems that way, if the Malaysians come on board, then PR will go with Borley taking temporary charge until a suitable replacement is found.
