Gotta feel for the guy, I think it was his final bow in football and now it's been cruely taken from him.

i think this his career done ond dusted to, i hate england with a passion but do like beckham i must admit.
its a long 6-9 months off at his age, then to regain fitness...cant see it

I ruptured my achilles playing football in Milan in 2004, not for AC of course. I had a top flight surgeon from the Gaetano Pini orthopaedic hospital (which is where Beckham may also find his surgeon) and the best physiotherapy. It's a long road back even with the best treatment available and I also wonder if this may mark the closure of his playing career. Very sad for him personally.

The curtain will drop on his illustrious career. I believe the hope of playing in another world cup was all that was keeping him motivated. He's got nothing now. I feel for the guy, it was his chance to go out on a high but now he'll have to decide to call it a day or finish up playing for a shit team with shit players in a shit league.
