I'd have Phil Brown, as long as he brought Jimmy Bullard with him!

That man is a f*cking legend.

It'd save us around £600,000 per year since we could get a new manager in on a decent (i.e. fair) wage.

I don't have a car, but I'd happily hire one to drive him to Hull

When did I say I wanted Phil Brown here?

You said it would be a bad thing if Jones left. I disagreed. I never mentioned Phil Brown coming here. ;)

I'm not saying I would want Phil Brown here, but I do find it odd that people can slate someone who took a team into the prem on a budget. Something we have fallen short of in the last few years

I said I'd only have him if he brought Bullard with him.

Hinting towards the fact that I want Bullard over Brown.

brown paid £5mill for a 31 yr old cripple on huge wages.good when fit but a huge liability when he isnt, browns a clown.as for jones not having vision, look at his transfer record, for me that shows incredible vision

Re: Phil Brown sacked

I didn't want him for his ability, just his humour.

Calm down, I'm not being serious. You really think I want a new manager to come in and take over at this point in the season? Not a chance.

only crusty the clown would take the job at the moment,or bobby gould

why wouldnt u want a new manager now? we might actully make the play offs then

Re: Phil Brown sacked

i dont want a new manager becouse we wouldnt get one as good as we have, short term boost wouldnt be worth it in long term.it doesnt always have a positive effect anyway, look at boro when strachan took over for a recent example

A new manager coming in, IMHO, isn't going to change a big difference. We don't have THAT long left, and in that time, if Jonesy left, and a new manager was brought in, with some hope of still making the playoffs, he'd have to motivate the players which could be quite hard to do in a short amount of time with the attitude they have (from what I've seen and heard).

The good news is Hull would have to pay us £800,000 due to Jones' one year rolling contract :D
