As I said to Annis in a earlier thread, the bad news is that PMG's got a charge over the lock, they've sold the stock and Ridsdale's hiding in the barrel.

That is a fantastic question which really needs further debate.

When the vast majority of us post on MB's it is just our opinion which 9 times out of 10 turns out to be wrong.

However, on the Malaysian investment 2 posters generally get what is happening spot on, Carl and Steve Davies.

Both have indicated that the £6m will be an 'investment' and not a takeover and this would also seem to tie in with the condition that Ridsdale must go before they invest (otherwise they would just buy him out). Also this isn't a new policy, Ridsdale 3 years ago said he was looking for 'investment' rather than a takeover with the same comments made with the Ben Steele and American sagas earlier this season.

So what exactly are the Malaysians 'investing' in? If its not shares then it has to be someting that PMG haven't got their grubby fingers all over and it is difficult to think of anything.

Therefore I can only guess is it something to do with future Premiership income, the stadium or a loan?

I did think the same initially. But who in their right minds would 'loan' this club a penny with the present incumbents
still in place?

I suppose we'll find out soon enough
