I hate Newport County more than any other team. But if they could get up to division 4 or whatever it's called these days it would give us the chance of an FA cup draw against them I suppose. I reckon the Cardiff Newport fixtures used to be much more tense than us vs the Jacks.

I agree, more of a rivalry than those picks up West, used to enjoy summerton Park, there lads were proper game as well.
plus they used to turn up, not like the Jack muppets.

i think im still drunk i signed in as my bro, post above was meant to me blaming the £2 booze

I remember going to SP back in '83 for the Promotion clash at Easter. Was only 10 at the time and was standing in the away end with my Dad, when a concerned Peeler advised us that another 3,000 City were just off the train and that it might be an idea to go and stand behind the other goal in the home end where it was less congested !!!

We were duly escorted onto the track, ambled around the pitch and hopped into the home end. Just remember us having 2 goals disallowed if memory serves me right and losing 1-0, and there being about 16,000 in the ground !
