How is that a guaranteed job with the same rights as a normal one?
I thought a 'vote of no confidence' would be enough?
It's not as if they're there on merit. Can't you just sideline them without sacking. Just make them a normal board member and have someone else take over the reigns?

For the Chairman's job that would [possibly be true.
But Peter Ridsdale is also Chief Executive which is a salaried position. With a contract

Still, I would be sacked with no pay off if I was as bad at my job as he is.
