I definitely do NOT want the English to win it. Not because of Southgate(who seems a decent guy) and his players. But all the rest of the hullabaloo that goes with it.
Many of those supporting them in Wales are English who have moved here. Too many of these view Wales is part of England and object to teaching of Welsh in Wales and so not embrace Welsh culture. To them U say English F off home, f off home just f off home!

To those English that come here and take part in our community and culture I say a big Croeso and to all other nationalities who do the same!

What is all this shite I’ve seen on here and Twitter these past few days, with City fans trying to make out that England’s abuse of Welsh supporters has been all one sided? It’s pathetic, and makes our fans look like a bunch of cry babies.

England have done well to get to the semi’s of the World Cup - that’s one hell of an achievement. We did well to get to the semi’s of the Euro’s too. Both nations can be proud of their achievements, and if one wants to support the other whilst they’re enjoying some success, let them. As easy as that.

Montyblue, I am a proud Welshman and as well as being a City season ticket holder, I support Wales and am a member of the Red Wall and was one of the few at the Panama game after the Ireland disappointment. However although Welsh first, I am also proud to be British and will support other UK teams when we are not in a tournament!

Have witnessed Welsh fans attacking English fans many times at Ninian Park and the old Wembley. Also a lot of racism from welsh towards the English, you can’t blame a whole race. If england win it then they’ll deserve it and we’ll done to them

My take on it is the Welsh have for more in common than they have with the Belgiums, the French, or Croatians. So if they do win it we’ll done to them. It will give English football which Cardiff City are part of, a massive worldwide boost
