12/01/19

Danny Ward is set to miss out for the hosts after suffering a blow to the head last week, while striker Kenneth Zohore is also out with a thigh problem.

The Dane isn't due to return to full training until next week, but young striker Rhys Healey could be involved after returning from a recent loan spell with Milton Keynes.

Kadeem Harris is ruled out with a shoulder injury.

Meanwhile, Huddersfield are set to be boosted by the return of Christopher Schindler from suspension, while on-loan forward Jason Puncheon make his debut.

Tommy Smith, Aaron Mooy, Danny Williams and Abdelhamid Sabiri also remain sidelined.

Cardiff City have made an additional 300 available for Saturday’s home game against Huddersfield Town.

These tickets are in Ninian 119, part of what is usually the away end :thumbright: :bluebird:

These tickets are available because Huddersfield returned part of their allocation.

It’s pay on the day for Cardiff fans and if you buy a ticket in advance, you get a Bournemouth ticket free :thumbright: :bluebird:

NEIL WARNOCK:

Team news:

"We’ve got a few players with knocks. Most of them trained yesterday, so we’ll have to wait and see. Nothing concrete on that.
Kenneth’s looking sharp. He starts full-time training next week. His eyes are bright and it’s nice to see. He’s worked really hard to get back. It was disappointing to lose him on the Man United."
"He’ll be struggling to get back for next weekend. He might get on the bench."

Neil Warnock Rhys Healey:

"He’ll probably be involved at the weekend. He can only go back to MK. He’s looked sharp in training. You know what you get with him. He’ll cause problems."

Danny Ward doubtful for Huddersfield

NEIL WARNOCK:

On Ward, Warnock said:

"He’s seen a neurosurgeon. He seems okay but I can’t say too much on it."

"I doubt he’ll be fit for tomorrow. It gives others an opportunity."

"If he’s not alright tomorrow he’ll probably be okay for next week."

INJURIES:

Kenneth Zohore still out injured.

About Huddersfield Town

Huddersfield Town Association Football Club is a professional football club in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, England, which competes in the Premier League, the top tier of English football.

In 1926, Huddersfield became the first English club to win three successive league titles, a feat which only three other clubs have matched. The first two league titles were won under manager Herbert Chapman, who also led the club to the FA Cup in 1922. In the late 1950s the club was managed by Bill Shankly and featured Denis Law and Ray Wilson. Following relegation from the First Division in 1972, Huddersfield spent 45 years in the second, third and fourth tiers of English football, before returning to the top flight in 2017 under manager David Wagner.

Nicknamed The Terriers, the club plays in blue and white vertically-striped shirts and white shorts. They play their home games at the Kirklees Stadium.

you would have thought if would have been a sell out not just because of the offer but a chance where we could possibly be favourites to dominate a game and possibly see some goals especially if we have our new striker playing.

Most of the stadium is sold out. Small number left in the middle tier of Ninian and now the last seats in 118 have been put up for sale- this is normally segregation area/ away section, so it appears Huddersfield haven’t taken their full 3k allocation.

Possibly going to be the most CCFC fans we’ve had in the stadium.

Although there will probably be hundreds of empty season ticket holder’s seats as it’s not one of the big 6

I think seeing as we both struggle for goals and both defences are prone to mistakes this will be a high scoring game.

Cant see it being a bore draw

4-2 city
They will throw everything at us and we will hit them on the counter

Agree with you.
Man U,Spurs,& Man City games were torture.
Unfortunately there are plenty of berks in South Wales who only want to see those top teams play and have little or no interest in their home town club. Plenty of money, but absolutely no sense.

Agree and their loss but dont forget we had a cracking crowd against Burnley with a great atmosphere and was on sky on a Sunday. The hardcore will be in full voice.

I missed out on Man U and Spurs tickets and watched on tv but it was painful viewing. No way I'm missing Huddersfield, biggest game of season so far. Can't believe it's not a sell out. Next 3 home games are must win. Got tickets for these. :bluescarf: :ayatollah:

Wagner on Cardiff clash

Huddersfield boss David Wagner has been speaking to the media ahead of this weekend’s clash with Cardiff, a game he admits is a ‘must-win’ for his side.

DAVID WAGNER:

“This is a very important game for us, a game we have to win."
“We have to be at our against Cardiff City to win.
“It’s all about standing up.
“Standing up and taking responsibility for everything you can influence. “If everyone can give the individual energy and responsibility, then we can have enough.
“The reality at the minute is that I’m not happy because we and I haven’t delivered what we expect.
“I and we have to turn this.”

Cardiff City have made an additional 300 available for Saturday’s home game against Huddersfield Town.

These tickets are in Ninian 119, part of what is usually the away end.

These tickets are available because Huddersfield returned part of their allocation.

If hudds can,t fill their allocation for an away match so important their fans should be ashamed or are weeds at home, how many times do we see huddersfield whites flags at weeds
