“ Anthony Pilkington's Message to Cardiff City fans “

Postby worcester_ccfc » Thu Jan 10, 2019 6:27 pm

Anthony Pilkington (@Pilkington_11) on Twitter:

I want to thank everybody @CardiffCityFC for the fantastic 4 and a half years I’ve had at the club. Thank you for making my family and myself welcome from the day I signed. I’ve got some great memories from my time like the last minute winner at Bristol, last minute equaliser at Sheffield and helping to get the club promoted back to the Premier League to name a few.

Thanks to all the staff I’ve worked with at the stadium, the staff at the training ground. From the kitchen staff to Vic and Callum (legends), the medical teams and Doctor Len (the best) to the coaches, S & C teams and management teams while I’ve been at Cardiff.

All my teammates that I’ve had the pleasure to play with. Along with all their families, I have made lots of true friends for life and got some amazing memories to take with me!!

I would also like to thank Vincent, Mehmet and Ken Choo for bringing me to Cardiff City and allow me to play for a great club.

The fans who have been fantastic to me while I have been at the club. I really hope you guys can stay up and see more Premier League football next season.

Thanks,

Pilks.

Its a Mistake letting him go which we may well regret if we dont get a striker before end of january

shame it didn't work out, strange that warnock never gave him a chance last season. scored several vital goals and usually tried his best. good luck pilks

Reckon he could have done as decent if not better a job than some that made it into the squad. Good luck and thanks Pilks.

We can change the 25 in January which would allow Pilks to come into it..Letting Pilks and Madine go would surely mean at least 1 new striker will be signed (hopefully)

I believe Rhys Healey is back training with us , my thoughts are he will not go back out on loan unless we sign a striker. tbh I am not sure he is good enough but is better than some of the names I have seen mentioned

He should still be in our PL 25.

Yes agree, he could have done well off the bench this season.

How many goals did he score off the bench last season?

He wouldn’t this year against better defences.

notice how he never mentioned manager Neil Warnock :? only ken choo vincent tan and melmet dalmin.

But as a whole a great player for us, and helped us to get promotion to the Premier League, good luck in bringing good fortune at Wigan and fingers crossed he keeps them up and does well.
