Waiting Until Deadline Day

Postby RhiwEbbwBluebird » Fri Jan 11, 2019 9:45 am

Seems as warnock has mentioned we might have to wait until deadline day to get our signings in then heres some thoughts on that..

A lot of fans seems up in arms saying we need signings now and me included has said this previous but its not the end of the world imo.

Warnock is saying he dont want to buy people for the sake of it if they aint much better than what we got which is fair enough. If he sees it more realistic and probable that we get higher quality players in who will improve our team more at the end of the window rather than right now then that is fair enough and so be it, thats the best thing to do. We got in 2 very good players in arter and camarassa right at the end of the window in the summer and they probably wouldnt have come a few weeks previous maybe, so if it means waiting for a few more of the quality of arter and camarassa then so be it i say. Even in an ideal world we need them now but im sure and hope warnock knows what hes doing. Hopefully we will have enough as we are for the big games against huddersfield and newcastle.

its about bringing in players that the manager thinks will fit and improve the squad not just about signing just anyone to appease a few impatient fans , and yes that might be the end of the window when clubs know where they are with their squads.

We shouldn’t be waiting till the deadline day we have got massive games this January disappointed not one players had been signed

Let’s hope we get the job done regardless :ayatollah:

shouldnt ?
you can not just demand that clubs sell their players or that players must accept deals.

there might be some decent players available.. Vincent Janssen at Spurs ? missed the first half of season, not in their original 25 and was loaned out last season.

I don't disagree but if Clynne and platicpool were as good as their word . and Sala fancied a few more Euros that's exactly what we would have had. just a case now of hoping a couple of decent players become available .

Why be hasty? We can beat hudders and the Toon with our present squad. Rather get players whom: 1) actually WANT to come here and 2) improve the squad. Rush signings and you'd end up with players like Lee Naylor :laughing6: scored a cracker against Weeds mind.
