Well when a team plays with this consistency they thoroughly deserve where they are in the league. Fair play to them ! Forza Atletico !! :bluescarf: :bluebird: :bluescarf: :bluebird:

How will this team perform at higher level ?

Will they need to invest in players and does it have the financial backing ?

Also how many are promoted, are there playoffs

Let’s get there first Mike, 54 years of waiting :bluescarf:

But if they do go up to La Liga 2, then they will need massive investment in the team.

La Liga 2 consists of big clubs like Malaga and Real Mallorca etc plus Villarreal first team look like being relegated in to it.

I'm sure only a few seasons ago when Atlético Baleares were in the league above they qualified for the play-offs which would have led to promotion to La Liga. From what I remember there were about 4 rounds of play offs and they did well but came up just short. The club are moving back to their revamped stadium next season. Not quite as good as Spurs new ground but not bad for a second tier Spanish provincial side. ;)

One day Tony, you never know you might come and watch them :bluescarf:

There was a full house of 4,000 again on Sunday.

Hopefully next season back in their old stadium in La Liga 2 with 8,000 plus crowds.

To be fair the crowd on Sunday sounded like 10,000 fanatical fans and every player walked around the pitch shaking hands with the fans, I have. Brilliant video but don’t know how to upload videos on here .

Tony,

ATB remind me of exactly how Cardiff were in the 80's/90's without the hooliganism :thumbright: :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

A club small, but close and united :thumbright: :bluescarf: :bluescarf:
