The official reason for disallowed pen!

Mon Apr 15, 2019 8:55 am

Apparently ref didn't see handball linesman who one doubts was able to see it given he was on wrong side pitch but gave pen ref points to spot then goes over to linesman during conversation the other linesman standing 40/50yrds away intervenes and said ball came off his head 1st? Now that means generally its not a pen as not deliberate and contact was unavoidable, may not agree but correct decision was made but you must question how any of the officials saw what they did standing in their respective positions? Gunners pen claim recon linesman saw it as was close to incident but wouldn't flag because of the pen farce

The biggest farce was that it was the previous handball from the shot that should have been given for a penalty.
He’s blocked it with his hand at the side of his body, which he could have moved.

If he’d moved it then we may we’ll have scored as the keeper was unsighted

Should have been disallowed for Ashley Barnes offside and interfering with keeper?.

Yes most say arta shot was a pen rather than disallowed pen? Not getting one shout for pen ok but 4 appeals 2 of which were obvious pens smacks of bias at worst or incompetence at best :old:

He was passively blocking his view but but as was interfering with view and also standing offside when ball kicked that makes him active so if var in operation would been disallowed
