I can definitely see this happening within the next month.
Anything over 10 million.

West Ham have a 20 year old that's the bees knees and are in the market for a back up keeper for 1 year... aint happening.

Didn't think there was a vacancy in premier league for a no1 keeper! Cannot see him going just to sit on bench especially at wham

I read Bournemouth might be after a keeper.

They can have him
Smithies is a good enough replacement

1st choice or back up? Can see merits of team wanting him but only as 1st choice back up is no good for his development? I'm not sure his footballing skills are good enough for the way other teams play out from the back?

10m + and id accept tbh. Don't see it happening though, most teams in the prem like a keeper who has great distribution and lets say Etheridge isn't the best in that department. Also think he'd rather stay here playing first team football for a top championship team who could be in the prem next season than sitting on the bench for 2-3 years at a prem club which he did for a large part of his early career. I reckon he's happy to just be playing regular football at a high standard atm.

If the money is right I'd be happy for Etheridge to go if it meant funding a quality striker or midfielder.
Smithies is a proven performer at Championship level and I see the Etheridge situation similar to that of Marshall last
time we were relegated.
In a struggling team the goalkeeper gets more opportunity to show his attributes, and there's no doubt Etheridge
has had a great season.

Agree with you on all but one point,he would only be rolling the ball out to defenders, not pumping it as far upfield as possible, remember, good teams play it out from the back,I'm sure Neill would be able to manage that
not that I think he will go,but if he does it will be as 1st choice, not backup as you have pointed out.

Why wouldn’t they go for one of Burnley’s three goalkeepers or Butland from stoke all better options then Etheridge and not much difference in price.
Can’t see him leaving. Just another case of our fans really over hyping our players again.

Joe Hart is the most likely departure from Burnley and was on loan at West Ham for season 2017/18 but they didn't keep him, so unlikely

Fabianski is better keeper so etheridge would be no2 until something changes at wham? It's for call hallmarks of a Marshall and that didnt go well for him in similar circumstances...
