What was your best moment of the season just gone?

Fulham home win?
Camarassa first goal scored of the season?
Zohore goal against Southampton?

Weirdly enough for me it was Newcastle away. Obviously a bad result but the stadium is very impressive. Stayed up for the weekend as well going out in Newcastle was the best away experience by far. Don't know how we managed to catch our flight home after 2 nights on the Toon :laughing6:

Nor sure which was the best, but the stand out moment for me was the offside goal in the Chelsea game. That was when I finally resigned myself to the fact that I would be watching Championship football next season.

I had forgotten about that, was brilliant fair play and it was only later that I pieced it together I'm blaming the beers haha

Southampton away was a highlight for me.

Brighton away was good aswell, although I did have a 'moment' when I thought hang on a sec when our fans started singing you're going down with the Fulham to Brighton :/

Old Trafford was pretty special..
I went half heartedly thinking if we win..so what..

turned out so much better than that. and when all is said and done how often do we get a result somewhere like that ? ive done literally hundreds of aways and cant think of one where we beat anyone anywhere near the stature of Man Utd..
relegated but we have come a long way..

Leicester away with Camarasa last minute winner.

I know a load of old school at Leicester and always go to their local before we play them. Over the last previous visits it has been us ahead of them. First time in 5 years I had seen them and it felt like I was a Christian walking into that Roman collaseum. What they had achieved in those 5 years is something we will never achieve. I was overawed with it all so to go and win the way we did was my moment of the season.

Instantly thought of Camarasa goal V Leicester away but wasn't at the game.

Fulham at home was pretty impressive performance from start to finish.

100% Leicester away. What a game, after the penalty save aswell, Leicester beating Man City and Chelsea the week before so no one gave us a chance. One of the best performances of the season from the players aswell, defensive was blocking everything and then camarasa scoring in the 92 minute with an absolute screamer. The away end went crazy, bodies everywhere

Had this question have been asked last week I'd have said Leicester away. Etheridge saving the penalty, Bamba clearing it then Camarasa scoring the winner. Scenes in the away end.

But last weekend, having gone to Manchester for the weekend with the family, going to Old Trafford, a stadium known for its history and known as a fortress at one point, and playing them off the field picking up a 2-0 win was unbelievable. I don't think I've ever been in such disbelief.

For me it was the end of the Palace match.

It showed the unity between the club and fans, we missed it for many years but it was well and truly back.

In terms of on the pitch, I'd go for our entire performance against Bournemouth at home on an emotional day.

My highlight was Southampton away, but the defining moment for me was Huddersfield home. Absolute crap. Not a shot on target at home against the worst form team in the league. That's when I believed for the first time that we'd go down.

I couldn't pick one, but all the above shows that, whatever else , it's been a fantastic and memorable season.

I agree with all the stand out moments so far listed.

For me the one moment that stands out was when Mendez Laing skinned Trent Alexander for pace down the line turned him one way then the other and sat him down on his backside before delivering a cross to the far post. Brilliant!!!.

That's the way to play against the elite.

Mendez Laing as a centre forward? Could he cut it? Could he save us £15m? I think he could. :bluebird:

Got to be the last minute winner at Southampton. From utter dejection after Southampton equalised to pure joy - all in the space of two minutes.

Summed up why we love football.
