IF ETHERIDGE LEAVES THEN CARDIFF NEED TOM HEATON

Postby Sam ReaN » Tue Jun 11, 2019 4:54 pm

What You Think I Think Someone Like Heaton Could Be A Slight Upgrade In The Goalkeeper Role, I Know We Got Smithies But We Need A Top Quality GoalKeeper.

Heaton the perfect replacement IF Etheridge leaves.
If I was Etheridge I would stay at Cardiff because if he goes to Liverpool he will only be on the bench.

What Burnley’s number one? Impossible, even if he was for sale, they’d want more than Etheridge’s value. The club should try and find another hidden gem from the lower leagues

England squad keeper Tom Heaton? Widely acknowledged to be the reason Burnley improved their form at the end of season.

He would be a significant improvement on Etheridge. If Heaton was available teams would go for him not Etheridge.

Heaton would be great - But leaving Burnley as Number 1 . I just can't see that happening .

Better choice would be to go and get Marshall back ;)

Smithies was fantastic for QPR and regarded by their fans as the best keeper in championship!

Heaton is an England International, Burnley number 1 who is keeping Joe Hart and Pope on the bench. Yeah, we got a great chance of signing him :banghead:

Haha, clearly this is silly, it does make you think though, Marshall or Heaton? We were blessed at the time.
Whatever's comfortable.

Based on what?

Has Smithies ever been number 1 for a team that's won promotion to the Premiership or been player of the season for a Team in the Premier League.

If Smithies is better than Etheridge why can't our management see it and why didn't someone else come in for him when he was at QPR.

You think Smithies is better than Etheridge? That must make his value about £20 million cos Etheridge got to be at the 10-15 million ballpark after his last two seasons.

Lost for words on this one sorry mate.
