I thought we did very well yesterday, the Luton goal being the only blot. It is often said that the Championship season is about grinding out results over a long season. That applies as much to the second game of the season as it does to the 37th game and we did just that yesterday we ground out a result :ayatollah:

Lets be fair all that matters to Warnock is the 3 points and that's what has made him so successful. I don't think he has ever seriously thought in his entire managerial career about the beautiful game and playing and passing teams off the park! The majority of managers out there would give their right arm to have a record as good as Warnocks, however, his style of football is never going to be attractive to watch.
Lets just hope he can weave his magic this one last time and get us back in the Premiership and hopefully we can find that allusive combination within the next manager, of winning matches whilst playing attractive football, Dave Jones was the closest we have come to that and I for one, would love to see that style of attacking football back at the club.

All the talk is generally about who’ll make the top 6, but it’s even more difficult, even after only 2 games to see any obvious relegation candidates.

Danny,

I think Luton & Wigan will be in the bottom half come May and at least one of them relegated.

Just wish when we score we go all out to get the 2nd rather than contain and sit on it apart rrom that hapjy with the outcome but feared the worse when they equalized and there keeper decided to have a sleep in the box in injury time.
