Worst first half in years. Gutless. Second to every ball. No pace, just jogging back. Warnock your days are numbered if this continues.

Both of these goals avoidable. We look terrible this first 45.

Not learning anything how many times have our players been 6 ins away from theirs and been turned? Give them space so can stop them getting behind us said 10 mins ago be 3 or 4 we look poor with glatzel having no touches in their area!

Sorry. Can't really blame the keeper with the defense he's got in front of him

Can blame him when he call ‘keeper’ and Bennet leaves it for him and 2 attackers come in and put unnecessary pressure on goal moments before the 2nd goal

Yeah... Not the reason we are 2-0 down though

They are playing us off the park. We haven't half their creativity and this could end up a real thrashing!!

We are two down because of poor defending yet again both goals were down to us

Nothing there from us. Very worrying. I know its early but we look more like going into a relegation fight. I think mid table will be a good achievement this season.

I always look at those first 5 games of our last promotion season as the “golden era” of Warnock’s reign. Great football. Goals flowing. It had everything.

Compare these opening 2.5 performances to those... Jesus Christ.

Just a massive difference in transfer market we buy old tall and slow players while reading buy young talented and very skillful players..I'm sure Warnock will say something after the game he already bigged up reading before the game

That was awful to watch, they are playing with us and making us look a very poor side, which we are.

One forward up front alone, nothing changes.

No creativity in midfield and we simply cannot with their attacks.

F******* Embarrassing

Vaulks looks like a dud. Hoilett useless. Nobody tracking and covering Bennett for the second goal (Probably mendez-laing)

Sorry, but we're playing the midfield with midgets who don't get stuck in other than Ralls. Ralls is the only one who's actually made an appearance. Vaulks has been a complete disgrace to the shirt so far, especially with him pathetically letting the attacker run past him in our box for the first goal.

I'm so embarrassed, it's the first time I've ever wanted to turn the tv off and just forget about the game. there is no good to come out of this game now, and it's only half time.

Sorry if I'm being a moany b**** and I'm a fickle fan sometimes where I'll be praising Vaulks' hat trick in the second half no doubt. But at the moment in time I'm just sharing how I feel about this pathetic excuse of a Cardiff City side.

Does Smithies actually ever make a save? Seems like since we lost Etheridge ever single time the opposition have a decent shot they score. Glatzel looks like the latest in a long line of centre forwards to get no service and just be confined to running round ineffectively like Madine Niasse etc. Beginning to wonder if Neil Warnock's detractors are right and he has stayed on one season to long.We looked like a rather agricultural league one side against the team bottom of the league a sort of Rotherham which should make Vaulks feel at home.

Damn, looking at that first goal if anybody had been stood on the line between Smithies and the back post it wouldn't have gone in. Great strike and all but something could have been done if Nelson was stood half a yard back and Morrison wasnt miles up for a throw in.

I said pre season the signings were poor and the squad is not good enough, it is now showing on the pitch. Too many lower league players, we needed quality like this Puscas guy who was within our price range

The season isn't quite over yet, the squad are still blending and the manager will sort it out!

Did you see the look on Neil Warnock's face at half-time?

Grow a pair and get behind manager and team!

Two changes for City at half-time...

Calum Paterson and Isaac Vassell replace Will Vaulks and Junior Hoilett :ayatollah:

That's all three used now with Curtis Nelson replacing Marlon Pack early in the game

Reading have had to blend in new players as well, we are not the only side with new players.

Perhaps they have a better blender

Big gamble making two subs, with Bucuna already on a card. Now Paterson getting treatment. This could get worse.

Glatzel looking lost , no wonder Zahore and Madine struggled it looks like this guy will aswell with these tactics and players

On the plus side Vassell looks a decent player

Has someone told them they cannot shoot? Several good opportunities to shoot but instead piss about with passing and lose ball :banghead:
