A forum for all things Cardiff City
Sat Sep 07, 2019 12:33 am
Been a while since I have been around the forum, but I am finally getting to visit Cardiff in a few days.
I am only getting one night there but I am looking forward to it very much. My wife signed up to run a half marathon in Paris and I told her one condition was I got to visit City.
So as a tourist who only probably only has one shot at seeing Cardiff City what do I need to do?
Thanks for the advice.

Right now...I got the castle, the Parks, stadium, pro shop, and City Arms on the to do list....
Is there something else?
Not trolling....long time poster wants legit advice.

He was specifically asking about visiting Cardiff not Wales as a whole. The museum gives a very good representation of life in Cardiff and the surrounding areas and is very interesting. Yes it is a welsh life museum but he was not asking about Wales.
On a side note I wish they had taken Ninian park down and rebuilt it at St Fagans aswell, would have been brilliant.

Old Arcade preferable to City Arms. Easy stroll into Cardiff indoor market which is always worth 15 minutes of your time.
Enjoy chief!

Back when the States had a decent Cup run I took an interest in the sport. It took me about a year before I settled on a team.
I wanted to cheer for a team from Wales (I have Welsh ancestors) and after lots of research back a decade ago I chose Cardiff. loved the tradition, what I read about the city and Men of Harlech was stuck in my head for months. I have been pretty avid since.
I am a mod on the US Bluebirds facebook page,
