MY VIEW:CARDIFF CITY WERE TONIGHT LOOKING FOR ANOTHER 3PTS &

My View / Opinion

CARDIFF CITY WERE TONIGHT LOOKING FOR ANOTHER 3PTS & AS NEIL HARRIS STATED, IF WE ARE SERIOUS ABOUT THE PLAY-OFFS THESE ARE THE GAMES YOU HAVE TO WIN & CARDIFF CITY DID NOT DISAPPOINT :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

3PTS TONIGHT / 6PTS FROM THEIR LAST TWO AWAY GAMES / NEIL HARRIS IS NOW BEING BACKED BY THE MAJORITY OF CITY FANS :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

CITY FANS ARE REALLY THINKING OF THE PLAY-OFFS :bluebird:

For me this is an excellent away win :thumbright: :bluebird:

Fair play Well Done Neil Harris tonight & v Luton :thumbright:

First-half: Huddersfield had for 30mins been the better side, Lee Tomlin was doing his best to make something happen.

Then a lovely through ball for Murphy, who raced away from the defence before dinking the ball over Lossly and into the net 0-1 :thumbright: :bluebird: and then minutes later Vaulks scores 0-2 :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

The last 17 mins of the first-half was as good a performance as we’ve seen this season. :bluebird: :bluebird:

Both managers kept faith with the line-ups that earned victories over the weekend.

Huddersfield were without Kamil Grabara, Tommy Elphick and, most notably, top scorer Karlan Grant.

HUDDERSFIELD TOWN 0 CARDIFF CITY 3 :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird: :bluebird:
Crowd
Away Support 254 Cardiff fans :bluebird:

Alex Smithies,Jazz Richards,Sean Morrison,Curtis Nelson,Joe Bennett,Marlon Pack
Will Vaulks,Albert Adomah,Josh Murphy,Lee Tomlin, Callum Paterson

Subs: Neil Etheridge, Aden Flint,Leandro Bacuna,Gavin Whyte
Junior Hoilett, Danny Ward, Robert Glatzel

For nearly 30mins Huddersfield were controlling the game, even with Tomlin battling for everything, then bang 30th min Josh Murphy, great goal 0-1 Cardiff :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

Then minutes later, Pack’s corner was delivered in low and Vaulks was there at the near post to flick home. 0-2 :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

Cardiff then went on to dominate the rest of the first-half and could of scored more. :bluebird:

H/T 0-2 :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

Huddersfield came out and took to Cardiff with Cardiff defending well.

67th min

Double sub for Cardiff, Murphy and Adomah made way for Bacuna and Hoilett.

70th min Callum Paterson scored 0-3 :bluebird: :bluebird: :bluebird:

Once again Huddersfield could not deal with the counter.

Tomlin found Hoilett, who cuts in and dips in a shot from the edge of the area and bang Callum Paterson tapped in :thumbright: :bluebird:

Final sub for Cardiff was Paterson off for Danny Ward.

Cardiff from then on just controlled the game at their leisure :thumbright: :bluebird:

Brilliant result and another clean sheet.

Another very winnable game on Saturday.

Surely people have to praise Neil Harris tonight.

Brilliant win tonight but we must follow it up with another on Saturday to keep pressure on Top 6. Pity Wursels and Preston won tonight but great to see Murphy and Vaulks getting on the scoresheet!

Some great play last night and well worth the watch :bluescarf:

So nice also to see Tomlin playing with a smile on his face after his troubles and long may it continue :ayatollah:

Surely now even those who said harris was a second rate Warnock and waste of time can give him credit!!

Josh seems to have settled and is getting amongst the goals also, wonder what has changed , could it be that the players wanted change so NW lost the changing room, maybe the turn over of players or perhaps the players now seem to know they are not guaranteed a starting spot under NH?

Thoughts please.

He did aim a shot at the departing players, stating the group was better after the window due to players leaving?
Who knows what went on, something has changed ,me its dropping Flint for Morrison, Vaulks and Patterson back in the side along with Smithies.

brilliant result.

Didnt see the game but any 0-3 away from home has been a long time coming. This is the sort of result that can build confidence and hopefully get a run going.

Yeah I have to agree mate. Especially Morrison and Smithies coming in. Vaulks is doing well too. I like the fact that Harris doesn't seem to be picking players due to favourism but due to form instead, how it should be for me. :ayatollah:

Finally looks like he's found his best team. Especially the back 4. It's not often this season that I've been able to use the word 'convincing' to describe our defence :bluescarf:
