Benkovic 'set to join Cardiff'

The BBC claim Cardiff City are set to sign Leicester City centre-back Filip Benkovic on loan for the rest of the season.

The Croatian international is set to replace the outgoing Aden Flint, who has moved to Sheffield Wednesday on loan.

Just had a contact on from Bristol City told me we are in for Benkovic never heard of him if i am honest. He's like the oracle when it comes to Bristol City in his words probably the best centre half he has seen at Bristol for a long long time. Told me to look on there message board there fans not happy if he comes to us.

Desperately need a CB so hopefully this comes off.

BBC say it’s a done deal.

Less pressure for RB then as Nelson can shuffle over if needed.

This lad is a good footballer, comfortable on the ball and importantly excellent passing ability. Morrison and Nelson's distribution is not the best.

If this comes off it is another step in the "footballing" direction and further from the hoofball.

Apparently cost Leicester £13.5m so should be another starter? We’ Certainly used the loan market much better in this window with four loans! Jacks as usual done their maximum 5! The good thing about loans is you can get rid if they don’t work out and have a chance of signing if they do,Its the way to go after our many horrific permanent signings?
