Roberts' Leeds United situation explained

Harris has made no secret of the fact he wants to add goals to his side for the second half of the season.

With Kieffer Moore sidelined, the Bluebirds have struggled in front of goal, with replacement Robert Glatzel starved of service to a certain extent. City are understood to be fans of Leeds United striker Tyler Roberts, who is struggling for game-time at Elland Road.

It was believed that Roberts would be unavailable this month, and Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa spouted that line last week, but in light of his lack of minutes, could the Wales international be on the move regardless?

"Bielsa reiterated Roberts remains a part of his plans last week and considers him an important part of the group, though he conceded the forward had struggled for continuity this term.

"However, Bielsa is not one to stand in the way of players who want to leave. If Roberts wants to get away and play more football, I don't see there being a huge amount of resistance from the club. Bielsa does run with a tight squad, so Roberts's departure would be felt, but the likes of Sam Greenwood and Joe Gelhardt are impressing with the under-23s and could feasibly plug that gap."

7 goals in 59 games for Leeds Annis - he is no more prolific than Glatzel. And won't start once Moore is fit, so why waste money on another bang average striker. We need a creative midfielder as Tomlin is unlikely to make 10 games this season, a RB and a new CB given that the only recognized players in that position we have available are Morrison and Nelson given Sol won't be featuring. Start playing Wilson as a 10 and he will score a few.

Or recall brown from Scotland if we are able.

That would make sense but can we? I seem to remember Harris saying something about it being complicated a week or so ago.
