We turned down his father who went on to Manage the biggest club in the world twice so I can’t see us going for his son! Steve Cooper However would be a good shout as I don’t think he is happy with the Yanks and is a Bluebird!

to be honest you are right about that I played against him once in a welsh youth cup tie and didn’t think he was that good is father didn’t think he was that good otherwise he would have been in Swansea first teamRay Bishop wrote:Cameron Toshack is probably a better Coach than he was a player, but that’s probably not too difficult. But unlike yourselves we're not falling apart. I think our last meeting proved that, and look forward to proving it again at the Liberty. Had our last meeting been a boxing match the ref would have stopped it to avoid further punishment.

I knew his father was a big Cardiff fan and involved with our club so I’am very surprised that his son from our catchment area is not also a fan! I’d still like to see him as our Manager as he’s doing a great job for the Jacks and the Yanks won’t be paying him much?

Forget the goals, lets look at 90 minutes of football. We totally played you of the park, being honest i watch quite a lot of your games when they don't coincide with ours, there's nothing I'd like to see more than two Welsh clubs in the Premiership, but I cant see it happening with your present manager or more so your coaching staff. long ball over the top football is a thing of the past, your football needs to move with the times.

lets not pretend that was anything but a shite game with few chances ultimately decided by a sending off an up and under and a fella that needs the sharp corners sanded off his head...

Yes, of course I watched it, but your manager expresses our superiority far better than I in his post match interview.

“Swansea City's 2-0 win at the Cardiff City Stadium on Saturday was one of the most one-sided games between the two clubs in recent history.
Swansea's win over their bitter rivals was their most comfortable since a 3-0 victory in the Premier League in 2014.
Cardiff did not force Swans goalkeeper Freddie Woodman to make a save of note on Saturday, with only two shots on target against the Championship's meanest defence in a game where the visitors also had close to 60% possession.
Since a 4-1 Cardiff win in 1994, only this weekend's game, that top-flight encounter six years ago and a 3-1 Swansea success at Ninian Park in 1996 have have been won by more than a solitary goal.
There have been 22 south Wales derbies - including Welsh Cup and FAW Premier Cup meetings - in that period.
So why were the Swans so dominant in the latest encounter?”

If your defender had been correctly sent off it would have been a lot different.

He wasn’t sent off due to the letter of the law. What you mean is you may have had a chance if you played against 10 men if the ref made an error and sent him off.
Well yes, that’s obvious. Thankfully the correct decision was made.
But I’m glad you realise 11v11 was no contest and you needed to have a player advantage to have any sort of chance.

It’s not a dive if one goes down under a challenge. It put him off balance.
Honest player.
