Have you made decisions on the players you want to keep next season?

Pretty much, yeah. I’m not going to tell you, though!

Will there be a big squad overhaul in the summer?

We’ve got loan players we can’t do anything about and they’ll all be going back to parent clubs.

And we’ll make an announcement, when appropriate, the players who will be here and the players who won’t be.

How quickly do you want to move in the transfer market?

It would be lovely to have the business done.

But no club will be doing their business and paying them through May June and July when no one is playing.

I don’t think… not until June.

Do you expect business to be done later this summer?

I think people will have to generate money through sales. Then you might have money to spend.

There are lots of players coming out of contract and we are on top of that. Good players are coming out of contract then get in the contract and see what you could afford.

Spending? Most clubs will have to generate some money. I’m looking forward to it!

MM says he knows those he wants to keep and the ones to leave, though he will not say.

Perhaps he could give initials as a clue?

MI5, KGB.. even Mossad would ponder the sweet failure of an interview with McArthy. He should just not bother to turn up.

it should be...the government allowed clubs an extra 3 months to submit accounts and instead of the EFL following suit they stuck with the original deadline and put a load of clubs under a transfer embargo although there is no transfer window open for those 3 months anyway...

Not sure if I’ve read one of those quotes right, but is the suggestion that money is so tight that we don’t want to paying a new player when they aren’t playing durinf May, June?!?!
