Let's just hope MM takes his blinkers off and make subs before 70mins and give couple of youngsters a decent run out not 5 mins taster?

Annis he his to stuck in his ways if you go by his previous statement on team selection? Hes got no excuse for not playing 3 of the youngsters no need for Wilson to play either .. wasted opportunity as we all know it be 70+ minutes if not later before play one of the youngsters pointless excersise.

But, again, it is a very strong team, with the manager not risking any more youngsters in the starting side, however Rubin Colwill rightfully retains his place.

Sean Morrison has not recovered from that arm injury he sustained last week so he is out, so too is Jordi Osei-Tutu.

Harry Wilson comes in, which seems to be a little counterintuitive given Jonny Williams is a City player and could well be around next season. One would think he is champing at the bit for a start. But the Liverpool man gets the nod ahead of him.

It's great to see Kieron Evans, Isaak Davies and Sam Bowen on the bench, all untested at this level and desperate for some game time.

Totally agree with you Allan, but very disappointed.

Knowing MM I rather suspect he will wait till 70 minutes and bring on Ojo and Williams.

Quite a contrast in attitudes Bowyer gives six youth team prospects a chance and MM one who has made his debut anyway. No excuse about the integrity of the championship either as neither team has anything to play for. Be interested to here his answer if someone asks him after the match why did he start with one youth team prospect when Birmingham had six.

For me it is just the same sort of pig headed stubbornness that Ipswich fans criticised him for and very short sighted.

I am keener than most to see academy players play but six would be too much for me. But we should have stared with two and maybe brought another on.

Had a look at a Birmingham forum and although six are academy players are playing only three are making their debuts.

I'm sure he just wants to have a positive end to the season but that would be very shallow IMHO

Nothing on the game other than pride and surely no better time to do what Lee Bowyer is doing for his club's long-term benefit...? :?

Brum have made 7 changes to their team.

The only one we are really finding out about is Colwill. I would have hoped for more younger players - to show what they can do.

This where it gets really frustrating, Allan... :(

Some of the young Brums showing promise, despite the score...

Why can't we do the same...? :(

Really got to question suitability of mick next season? as this is his mantra subs after 70+mins we know its going to be same next season and that is concerning hes reactive not proactive with subs and its going to cost us points
