MY VIEW " DOMINANT "

MICK PICKED A STRONG TEAM AND A DOMINANT FIRST HALF DISPLAY HELPED US PICK UP THREE POINTS IN OUR FINAL AWAY GAME OF THE SEASON

Harry Wilson scored two brilliant goals in the first half

Mick picked a strong team but with several academy players in the squad with Rubin Colwill starting again :thumbright:

Birmingham made several changes.

Phillips, Ng, Nelson, Flint, Brown, Ralls, Pack, Bacuna, Colwill, Wilson, Moore

Subs: Smithies, Bowen, Evans, Williams, Ojo, Murphy, Harris, Davies

Harry Wilson gave us an early lead in 9th minute :bluebird:

Cardiff dominated the first 25 minutes with Phillips having virtually nothing to do

Wilson doubled our lead with a brilliant goal five minutes before half time :bluebird:

We had the best of the first half against a young Birmingham team

HT: BIRMINGHAM CITY 0-2 CARDIFF CITY

We continued to control the game at the start of the second half, as Mark Harris replaced Kieffer Moore

Marlon Pack was booked on the hour mark for a poor challenge

Mark Harris added a third goal for the Bluebirds in the 65th minute :bluebird:

Harry Wilson completed his hattrick late on with another free kick :bluebird:

FT: BIRMINGHAM CITY 0-4 CARDIFF CITY

My MOTM is obviously Harry Wilson :thumbright:

Wilson superb today.
Back to the high press that worked in MM first 8 games.
Loads of positives.
Only thing missing was a couple more debuts. Even for the last 5.
Marlon Pack deserves a shout out too, played very well at the back. Maybe his future?!

Break the bank to sign Wilson, if Tan is a businessman he preports to be £15 mil is the difference between automatic promotion and failure, and build the side around him let MM wheel and deal with loans and out of contract players.
Pack deserves a mention and was a success at centre half. And could be the answer but in middle of 3 cbs though
Cardiff city tv commentators were deluded today regarding Baccuna and Brown - we were playing Birmingham 2nds.

Cannot think of a player who had a bad game.

Strong performance, good goals makes for a great win.

Slightly more ambitious set-up in midfield made all the difference.

Bacuna, Colwill and Wilson.. worked very well.

More carrying the ball, more creativity and pace and Bacuna did the grafting defensively.
