Certainly fits the model of the previous seasons. Bland and just using a generic Adidas template.
That said, it's not the worst I've seen and at least it's blue!

Presuming this is going to be the kit then I do like the collar design and the trim around the sleeves and collar look nice too

I will keep trying as you suggest.
Meantime, if you could please help in any way I'd be most grateful.
I will maybe scroll through your always amusing/positive/erudite/informative posts and replies in an effort to glean tips.
Thank you Sir.

Colours remind me of an old france or chelsea top.
Blue shorts I presume with the darker trim

As long as it's blue, that's all the matters in my opinion

I like it
the only problem is that i wish it was white instead of black.
White and blue is a much better combo than Black and Blue.
I also like how we have somewhat got a stripy design, something we have not had since 21+ years ago.
So big thumbs up from me if they switch the black to a white.

I'm sceptical of there being any truth in this. It's just a PNG of our badge pasted on top of the template kits from Adidas. Easy enough job to put a badge from a team that plays in blue on a blue template and generate a few clicks for your website you've conveniently plastered the wartermark over the image.

Out of interest, who actually decides the kit. Is it the club or someone else?

Well it isn't the supporters if other clubs shirts are anything to go by? But probably a collaboration of owner and commercial department and dare say historic colours have a bearing on things..
This one is ok but probably looks better on players in full kit

A yellow neck and stripes and it would be stunning.

Dont believe that's the new kit. Every Tom, Dick or Harry get their Paintshop Pro out at this time of year and claim an exclusive.
No way will we have black trim.
If it is correct then I thought there would be more of a furore over the black trim. It should be white all day long.
We have never had black trim except our first season in red and I THINK we all hated that kit.

It must take 10 mins for someone at the club to select which Adidas template to use. That's it in terms of design.
No thought goes into it whatsoever (apart from making sure it's blue)
Opportunities missed every year on repeat.
Why not jazz up the lazy sponsorship logos for example?

Changing the sponsorship logo is out of the club's hands I would assume and would instead be up to the company who's sponsoring the team. Aside from changing the colour, for example making black text white or red text yellow to give it better clarity, I doubt there's a lot the club can do.
