RUBIN COLWILL SCORES TWICE TO LEAVE NOTTINGHAM FOREST STILL AT THE BOTTOM OF THE CHAMPIONSHIP :bluebird: :bluebird:

Kieffer Moore & Rubin Colwill coming on in the 2nd-half changed the game :bluebird:

Colwills first ever senior goals :ayatollah: :bluescarf: :bluebird:

Forest 1pt from 6 games

Both clubs fielded a lot of younger players, Forest with the youngest first team squad in the Championship with an average age of 23.

First-Half: Cardiff started first 20 mins the stronger team as the game went on Forest finished controlling game .

Chris Houghton could be on the verge of being sacked.

City gained 3pts after a very good second-half. :bluebird: :bluebird:

Rubin Colwill & Joel Bagan both had an excellent match and well worthy of being first team players :bluebird: :bluebird:

I still stand by this James Collins not good enough and the game only changed when Kieffer Moore came on in the 2nd-half :bluebird: :bluebird: :bluebird:

NOTTINGHAM FOREST 1 CARDIFF CITY 2 :bluebird: :bluebird:
H-T 1-0

Attendance: 24,153 including 1,633 Cardiff fans :bluebird:

23rd min: GOAL! Nottingham Forest 1-0 Cardiff City (Grabban 23)

Grabban scores. Breakaway goal.

Bluebirds completely undone on their right flank. Max Lowe is played in behind Morrison, who doesn't have the pace to catch him. Lowe drills in a low cross and Grabban sweeps home.

56th min: Collins off, Moore on. Bowen off, Colwill on.

58th min: GOAL! Nottingham Forest 1-1 Cardiff City

COLWILL SCORES!

Will Vaulks with a vicious free-kick to the back post. Moore heads it but it's blocked, falls to Colwill and he bundles in from just yards out! :bluebird: :bluebird: :bluebird:

GOAL! Nottingham Forest 1-2 Cardiff City (Colwill 73) :bluebird: :bluebird:

IT'S COLWILL AGAIN! Oh, that is a quality goal.

He picks the ball up near the right, turns inside and drives at the box. He shifts the ball on to his left foot before driving it into the bottom corner of Samba's goal

Sean Morrison
Curtis Nelson
Joel Bagan
Will Vaulks

What a difference those substitutions made! Moore and Colwill transformed the team who were awful in the first half. And rather than dithering McCarthy got the subs on early. Credit due for that. A star has now arrived with Colwill. He was full of energy and what a finish for his second goal. Would Murphy have made the same impact as a sub? I doubt it. Still lots wrong with the team today but its great to finally hear 'He's one of our own' being sung about a young City player.

Points on the board are key; and the Bluebirds are finding their way...

Better be us right now than our M4 (West) rivals, who have applied to change their name to refect their town's status for the second time; this time to 'Swansea Nil' ;) :laughing6:

I would like to see Colwill on one wing and Giles on the other with KM and MH in the middle to put the ball in the net,and if only Tomlin was reliable enough to produce some magic in the middle of the park.

Match stats for them
70% possession 16 shots 4 on target... 711 passes to hulls 313
As I've said before if you like watching passing for passing sake with little action they're the team to watch? Funny enough our shot stats was same as theirs but big difference is the amount of time we went into forests penalty area was fairly high compared to swans hence they are struggling to score bit like last season for them despite top 6 that was based on not conceding goals rather than goals being scored... I know I complain about negative tactics but I would hate to have to watch my side make 711 passes in a game particularly as most inside own half.. :o

Like the idea of this, thought MH looked decent today too.

Only caught the second half but we were dominant and great for RC two get off the board. It's really fantastic to see kids coming through and actually having an impact. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I like Harris but not sure if he is good enough as a striker to play up front alongside Moore. Just doesn't feel like he is a natural striker and his record suggest that. He might come on of course and is getting beet but is he really an out and out forward?
