Bloody 'ell, that's some culture that Morison has out in place there.

He's left with his assistant for the first team and the new incumbent has just carried on where he left off

That's probably more impressive than what he's doing wit the first team.

Under-23s make it nine in nine :bluebird: :bluebird:

Cardiff City's under-23s have won an incredible ninth game on the spin after beating QPR 3-1 to maintain their lead at the top of the Professional Development League 2 table.

City took the lead early on through James Crole, who slotted home from the penalty spot, before Charlie Kelman levelled it up for Rangers.

But Cardiff grew into the match and scored twice in the second half to secure all three points.

Oliver Denham got City back in front just before the hour mark before fellow defender James Connolly made sure of the win with a goal 10 minutes from time.

Matthew Bloxham is currently in charge of the under-23s following Morison's promotion to the first team.

Nine victories from their first nine games is a tremendous achievement and further proof of the talent coming through.

Their results are all the more impressive when you consider that this is without a fair chunk of what would have been the development side who are now on first team duty.

And people are still saying we have nothing in the younger players?
9 from 9, exactly like MM, only his was losses!! Seems we have some decent youngsters among the ranks, and their development is down to our new manager! Great to see, that even with a chunk of youngsters stepping up to the 1st team squad, the new players in their places, have stepped up big time!! Well done boys, keep it going! CCFC!!

Tut tut Steve,

You have ruined this topic

It is a positive topic and you’ve changed it.

NO one is downing these kids, I praise them every week and rightly so :thumbright: :bluebird:

But that does not mean I have to like Tan

Wez,

And I am one of them, nearly 12 years we have waited and hopefully we will finally see some real quality Championship players come through.
I honestly believe Rubin Colwill is one of them :thumbright: :bluebird: as to the rest we will have to wait and see. :bluebird:

Sam Bowen and Kieron Evans look also to follow :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

Their is a hell of a difference and Steve Morison is honest about it:

Steve Morison on Zimba:

‘It’s a big step up and Chanka found that out on Saturday. I think he lost the ball every time he got it, which he wouldn’t have done in the Under-23’s. It was a different level. Being able to give him the opportunity to learn in those 45 minutes is invaluable.’
