Some horror signings there Harri, especially when compared to the very successful loanees quoted in the original article.
Unfortunately there is no guarantee of successful loan signings performing well after they've signed permanently for the club. Look at Lex Immers, an absolute disaster once we'd shelled out money on him.
I do agree with you though that in future we would do well to leave these journeymen players well alone. At the very least avoid paying exorbitant fees for their services if and when Tan is able or willing to loosen the purse strings in future.
