Is he not free to sign for anyone yet or is that in June?

Not till June 10th, only after this date can signings be announced or registered with the EFL.
Promises can be made to sign, but that can lead to players still checking for better deals until June 10th

They obviously having seen him play over the last couple of seasons.
Looks like his legs have gone and they'd certainly be getting a lesser player than the one who left for us.
Maybe Flint will go back there too?
