Obviously we are all on cloud 9 regarding Bale and Rambo potentially signing up for next year but hopefully SM and the board are making sure our other targets are getting sorted.

Don't know if Wallace was even a target TBF but had connections with SM

SM would have loved him, but Jed was never coming to Cardiff.

It's a good signing for West Brom, and a good 4 year deal for the player.

He'll do well there. Bruce building a good side at WBA.

A little surprised that a lower Premier League team didn't go in for Wallace.

Everyone knows Morison is mates with him but don't think we ever stood a chance of signing him.

There was a huge amount of clubs chasing him, both home and abroad. Besiktas offered silly money for him (c.£50k per week!) but he didn't want to go to Turkey. Burnley were keen but relegation and subsequent Kompany appointment meant that fizzled out. Forest were keen, but negotiations were long and protracted.

Like you say, I think he'll do well at West Brom. Good luck to him!

West Brom are paying him silly money, Morison knew there was no chance him coming to us, when he said he would love him to come to us BUT!

Wallace was one of Steve Morison’s main targets , but sadly had No budget for him.

I know SM talked highly of him but he is 28 year old attacking midfielder with a total of 38 championship goals over a 10 year career.

Joe Ralls is the same age,a central midfielder and has a promotion and a full premier league season on his CV has scored 30

Tom Lawrence also the same age and position has 48 goals.....

All the talk of lower premier league clubs was crazy, i hope Jeds agent left a few quid behind the bar for Steve, as i know they are mates but Millwall finished above WBA......
