" Bale or no Bale "

I have my season ticket and I'll be there in just over five weeks time against Norwich. I'll also be at the pre-season match at Cheltenham.

Obviously still hope we sign him but there is more to our club than one potential signing, no matter how big that signing would be.

Sounds mad but could the team be better off without him? Wont be 1st time a team as suffered by having a star player who is head shoulders above team mates.... love him here but not at any cost. :old:

I wouldn't say better off without him as he improves pretty much any squad in the entire world if he is included.
BUT I would point out that whilst we would all be completely boosted if he signs here to a level we have never seen before and above even the first Bellamy signing....plenty of other teams have been promoted without Bale, I calculate 60 teams have been promoted in the last 20yrs alone from the Championship...and none of them had Bale included :-D So YES we want him, but should he choose to go elsewhere sadly then we can't change that and we are still Cardiff City so it's not the end of the world.
Let's just hope he chooses to come here because it would be huge not just for the current team but for future teams too as it could kickstart something special. This time tomorrow we may all be celebrating so lets see what happens.

Bale - Here would bring money into the club in many ways and give that Good Feel Factor to us ALL :bluebird:

Club needs to respect the wishes of Bale and Agent - when so much money can be saved on wages ;)
