Malky didn’t do great at Watford really. Did alright with us first season then got given millions and millions. Can’t deny that he took us up as champions but when we went up we were very much out of our depth despite being the 5th spenders that pre-season and the two teams we went up with out performed us.

Yeah. Was under pressure and their fans wanted him gone after losing 5-0 to Bolton. They got battered.

Then had an international break and he had some time to coach the players on his press system and it was like a team transformed.

I don't think that our club has any more pull than other mid sized championship clubs. Oxford is not a mid-sized championship club though, and by now the other championship clubs have analyzed them to death and it will get tougher, Bulut had no answer when the how to stop Cardiff blueprint was known.

If i were Buckingham i wouldn't move either. Cardiff may be a massive pull when you are not drawing a salary but you need to see out the project if its yours and its going well. I also doubt Tan will pay compensation.

I'd be amazed if we are offering anything but an end-of-season deal, so some of those names won't fancy that especially if they are still getting paid from their former club.

It will be hard to get any good manager here some fans think we huge don’t get me wrong we could be massive but until we get stability with a direction we all want to go and a game plan for the future we will always be a small club with half empty stadium the best option for us could be Ryan giggs and perhaps Ramsey helping out least he be doing something to earn his wages and all the other players we have who are not trying should be docked their wages none of them look fit to me or inthusastic we need somebody to give them a good kick up the butt at this moment of time performances are just not acceptable

The team they have is full of pace. Brannagan is their best player and currently injured, class left winger currently injured.

Got us promoted as champions, was never in the relegation zone in the prem and was a pen away from beating Liverpool in the league cup final. I'd take that right now!

I believe VT would love Des' football philosophy - sounds Keeganesque to me. I'd take that all day over the turgid, ultra defensive borefest we've put up with for the past year or so!

I'd prefer to see my team attack the opposition as much as possible and would accept the risk of conceding goals as a result.

That list is not inspiring for me have to say. Nathan Jones probably my choice or Jokanovic, Buckingham. But having given Bulut a 2 yr contract and having to sack him 6 games later forcing his hand to shell out, Tan is unlikely to pay compo for a manager, so we are looking at current out of work managers. I can see him going for Rob Page myself who no doubt will give a good passionate interview, major tournament pedigree local lad, will impress the clueless dictator. I hope not.

I want a guy who has good experience of - The championship, developing youth, front foot football, more than one formation and tactic, good motivator and communicator, doesn't play the blame game (basically everything Bulut wasn't) and preferably not of the Warnock, Allardyce generation more like the Rob Edwards, Gary O Neill generation. Where are you?!!
