Would make a great pin badge, but not sure about being a club crest.

Nice design though.

I think thats pretty good.

It has a modern feel to it but keeps our beloved bluebird.

send it to the club, you never know

That's the best "compromise" I've seen.

Accepting that change for the moment is inevitable - what do you not like about that badge?

I could wear that - I won't be wearing the junior school entry revealed by the club!

A friend who works for a design company came up with it.

I think it's superb.

I haven't worked out the private messaging on here yet - but just to say I posted this on CCMB this evening for comments - without permission so sorry.

Great design.
Would love to keep the original badge but that is the kind of "fusion" that should be acceptable.

I think some of the new badge designs are a definate improvement on the current beer mat design but is there an chance the club would change it? I thought I heard somewhere it was too late to make any changes because the kit was already in production? Can anyone confirm if it's possible we could get a different badge or not?

The best compromise badge design by miles. Very good.
So much classier than the monstrosity the club/Malaysians/5-year-old came up with.

Karl Payne did this, he commented on it in another thread on here...

maybe we can merge the threads about alternative badge design?

Can someone get that to the City board, I cannot see why they would not consider it. The dragon is more of a tilt to Asia for the owners and the bluebird is more central for us. Plus I love a circular badge. :ayatollah:

Wasn't it late 90s when we had a white circular badge with a bluebird silhouetted in the middle or was it just the training kit (i've still got the jumper)
