I'll admit I know nothing about him other than performances at Copa America which seem to be decent

I know its still early doors but we need players in sooner rather than later so we can start gelling and performing as a team

Hopefully something will happen soon :bluescarf:

Thats us out of the frame if other clubs stated are interested burnley and watford
i am sure they are a better attraction
Tan has poisioned us as a club to come to in recent years
with all the turmoil with changing managers embargoes etc hardly an attraction to pro footballers and most know about all the troubles etc.

Managers monty?? Watford are the Kings of changing managers make ours look as if they’ve been here years compared to them! We have done ok with signings despite tan ... think you forget lots clubs are or have been in turmoil and still sighn decent players its called a football club and players tend go where money is or the manager they like.

Hes young so that's a good start. If Burnley are in for him then he must be decent.

I doubt he will choose us over what Burnley could offer though.

It also shouts out that we aren't looking at bringing Phillips back, or going for Kipre again.

Suspect burnley be linked with 99% of players available ? Manager only been there 2 days so who looked at him to want sign him? Who knows who we are targeting recent times tells us most signings are unexpected .... did read we are trying to get in 3 players for next week no names given though .

That’s it; get behind your club, Monty!

It’s just ‘talk’ at the moment, so don’t count anyone in or out! :ayatollah:

Chris I'm not quite sure why people keep thinking we wont attract players/managers? I've stated over the years that there are far worse run clubs/owners than us but we still attract quality players! Football is a very insular sport and footballers have few options as to where they play? money talks and city are above average when it comes to paying manager/players as we well know ....each club have a squad of 25 so teams like Burnley cannot sign every quality player as can only play one in each position so plenty to go around plus not all players suits a managers
Style and city "ARE NOT" bottom of list for signing players despite what some of our fans think .....

Dutch giants Feyenoord are also keen in the giant centre-back after his performances this summer.

Farina, 22, has been outstanding for Panama and has played a vital role in their historic run to the quarter-finals of the Copa America.

His impressive displays have seen him pitted against the likes of Liverpool’s Darwin Nunez and USA duo Folarin Balogun and Josh Sargent, helping Panama knock out the hosts.

Burnley, Watford and Cardiff race to sign Edgardo Farina

Farina signed for Independiente in 2021, spending one year with the club before he was loaned out to Universitario and Municipal in consecutive seasons.

Most recently having featured for Municipal in Guatemala, the defender made 27 appearances across all competitions, helping his side to win the league.

Standing at 6ft 4in, his aerial presence is regarded as an important asset for the Championship sides who are looking to improve after disappointing seasons.

Allan, I agree; and whilst I don’t think that particular player is likely to come here, we should all know by now that those who do (arrive) will (a) largely surprise us, and (b) be on decent money whilst plying their trade in what most Bluebird players describe as a “great city with great people” :ayatollah:

Regarding getting players in things and coach/scouting personell have changed since last season so with that comes change in focus...... at moment people are concentrated on ex loanees who are free now that ship as mostly sailed expect to see few more foreign players to add a bit of flair along with essential players we need for well mentioned positions... but as you say Chris there will be surprises along way.. but I'm sure get people not happy as never heared of players even though bulut has! :o
