He's only played 3 games this season, 0 goals 0 assists and has been benched with no minutes for the last two games.

I don't understand how he can be good enough for Salzburg, but now is struggling to even get any game time at Kortrijk.

The whole situation is very strange, I hope we haven't wasted £2m on him to sit on Kortrijk's bench for a season.

Does seem strange However one could argue that the Belgium league a much harder league than the Austrian league and is lower ranked in world ratings
Red Bull have been by far the stand out team in the Austrian league and have had a knack of picking up decent players at a young age So for him to be sitting on the bench in Belgium for a team at the lower end of the division does seem very questionable.

When he has played his ratings have been poor. I think it’s better to send strikers to better teams in the respective leagues, even if the league is lower. If you are a striker in a team at the bottom of a league you are invariably going to get less chances.

For young strikers it’s about building confidence then testing at a higher level imo.

Id have thought if he was good enough to play in the champions league last season, he would of been good enough for kortrijk this season at the very least.
