"Regarding the position, that's down to the board to discuss," Riza said ahead of this weekend's game. "I'm not being rude, but there's nothing more I can say. There are some meetings taking place with staff and board members in general, just to see how things are coming along. In respect of the position, it's now with the board.

"I can't comment on whether there will be talks regarding the position. It would be wrong of me to say anything that's not truthful. As far as I am concerned, there are meetings about general things, staff, players, results, hopefully we can move forward into the next game and get a good result.”

"Callum Robinson has got a slight little knock on his Achilles at the moment so we are monitoring that. He could potentially be a doubt. A lot of the boys are in good form at the moment so you don't want to lose players. Cal has been integral and I hope he's OK.

NG Is Suspended for the Norwich game after 5 yellow cards

Cardiff captain Joe Ralls will be out for "a couple of weeks" owing to a leg injury , Ralls missed the thrashing of Plymouth and the win against Portsmouth and the draw away at Albion.
Aaron Ramsey is back in light training, but still out for a few more week, maybe December.

Etete is out still, but is back in training.

Isaak Davies wilk be out at least until December.

Ralls could be back for Blackburn game.

Cardiff interim manager Omer Riza, this creditable result took his points tally to 11 from his six games at the helm to boost his chances of getting the job permanently.

Riza is now unbeaten in five matches and, although Corberan’s Baggies have closed the gap on the automatic promotion spots to three points, they will be concerned with a fourth successive draw and a fourth game in five in which they have failed to score.

Norwich City’s manager is Johannes Hoff Thorup, who has been in the role since May this year.

“It’s important, I’ve always said, that the players are in a good place, like mentally, physically, for them to be able to perform. I think they’re in a good place at the moment and they need to continue, because we haven’t really achieved anything yet, other than trying to get ourselves back to where we thought we should have started.

"There’s a lot more work to do and we can’t sit on our laurels and think we’ve done enough, because we haven’t done anywhere near enough yet. I spoke to the boys about that today, we need to keep pushing forwards and keep working hard.

Their last three matches have all resulted in draws however, the most recent coming in a 3-3 thriller against Middlesbrough.

“They’re a dangerous side," Omer added. "They play good football, they can open you up, have it down the sides or through the middle of the pitch, they counter very quickly and they’re decisive in their attacking approach.

"We’re going to have to be really good defensively, like we were against West Brom, but I definitely feel that we’re not going into the game thinking that we are underdogs, if you like. The way we’re performing at the moment, we’re going to go in like we want to win the game, which I’ve said in every game that we approach."

Riza said: "I speak to the boys about white noise, sometimes you've just got to take it away to do your job properly. I just felt I was reading stuff all the time that I didn't really need to read.

"It's probably helped me, coming away from it. I can just focus. I'm not being ignorant - I still read stuff, because I think it's good to read stuff, sometimes it can help you. But I decided to come off of it, because it was getting to a point where some of the stuff just made no sense.

"If it made no sense, then why was I reading it? I came off it and felt better for it.

"If you look back over the results now, Bristol City away 1-1, West Brom 0-0, if you win your games at home and draw your games away, I think you're picking up good points. You want to win away, you want to win every game, but it's not always as easy as what people say."

"I haven't spoken to the players about it," he said of social media. "The only thing I speak to the players about is making sure they're alright. If I catch someone who is not his normal character, I'll pull him.
